Agree with the message. Particularly the danger in comparing Facebook to , well, to any other company out there. We don't see enough of this debunking out there, so well done. I wish others would stop promoting Facebook as the way they should act - its just ignorant and harmful.
Would it help your readers to point out the their end-users on the other hand are not so appreciative of frequent changes by dev teams?
Especially when they are learning a new system. And especially in a system they depend on everyday (accumulated muscle memory)
Being mindful (and employing specific tactics) instead of being dogmatic about exposing end-users to every single change is key here. And better comms are the way to manage end user expectations when significant changes to behavior are anticipated?
